Elizabeth Irene Mcguire

Mrs. Elizabeth Irene McGuire, age 78 of Makanda, died at 9:18 A.M. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Jackson County Rehab & Care Center in Murphysboro. She was born August 18, 1932 in Anna, the daughter of Van Leroy and Cecile Williams Hartline. She married Daniel Davie McGuire on May 4, 1957 in Anna. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2007. Irene is survived by two sons, Brad (Kat) McGuire of Sandpoint, ID., and Dana McGuire of Cobden; three grandchildren, Matt, Kelsey, and Sean McGuire; one sister, Mary Lemons of Trenton; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel; two brothers, Gilbert Leroy and John Hartline. Irene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Anna and was a cancer survivor. She and her husband were co-owners of the McGuire Orchards in Makanda. Memorial services for Mrs. Elizabeth Irene McGuire will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in the Rowan Cemetery in Makanda. Friends may call from 10 to 11A.M. Saturday November 13, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Casual attire for the services was requested by Irene. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rowan Cemetery or Friends of the Cross. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
