Elizabeth "Ann" Lingle

    Elizabeth “Ann” Lingle, age 78 of Dongola, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born October 14, 1947 in Vienna, the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Richardson) Wright.

    Ann worked for many years as a food service supervisor for Rave Residential she enjoyed reading, and yard sales.

    Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Clifford; sisters, infant Edith Wright, Kay Starr, Barb Davis and Lynn Heisner. She is survived by her three children, Anthony “Wade” Lingle, Shane Alan Lingle and Michaela and husband Josh Ames; grandchildren, Dustin Craig, Breezy Pollard, Bruce (Tabitha) Moreland, Brittany Lingle, Bret Lingle, Samantha Ames, Katlyn Ames Daniels, Ethan Ames and Walker James Ames; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Ann is also survived by special nieces Dee Treece and Fawn Newman.

    The family would like to thank LHC home health for the great care that they have given Ann throughout her days..

    Funeral services for Ann Lingle will be held at a later date. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
