Edward Smith

Edward Smith, age 63 of Anna, died at 4:36 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born July 18, 1955 in Union County, the son of William and Freda (Sharp) Smith. Edward is survived by his children, Patti Jordan of Belknap, Samantha Casper of Elkville, Nathaniel Smith of Cobden, Freda Smith of Jonesboro, Zachary and Brice Smith, both of Anna; seven grandchildren, Brooke Gibson, Kaeleigh Ralph, Justin Gibson, Hallie Casper, Brenden Casper, Jason Crabtree Jr. and Skylar Crabtree; one great-grandchild, Harmony Gibson; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Carl Smith; brother, Carl Smith.A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
