Edna M. Davis Sharp

Mrs. Edna M. Davis Sharp, age 89 of Anna, died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 in the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. She was born October 25, 1924 in Ullin, the daughter of William and Lula Mae Reed. She married Warren Harding Davis and later married William A. Sharp. Edna is survived by her son Gary (Cora) Davis of Cobden; four daughters, Patsy (Nelson) Diaz of Anna, Carolyn (John) Foster of Anna, Anna Patterson (Paul Burton) of Olive Branch, Birdie (Jessie) Barnett of Pittsburg, IL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three sons, Albert, Joshua and Robert Davis; and one daughter, Alice M. Myers. Edna was a member of the Tamms Pentecostal Church. She worked fourteen years at Henard Shelter Care. Funeral services for Mrs. Edna M. Davis Sharp will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Jim McLane officiating.
