Edlein Josephine (Stegle) Dillow

Edlein Josephine Dillow, age 105 of Anna, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at home surrounded by family. She was born on February 13, 1918 in Cobden to John E. and Josephine (Cerny) Stegle. She married Leon Dillow on June 12, 1937, and they shared 54 years together before his death on August 13, 1991. She is survived by three daughters Kay (Paul) Shukis, Marilyn (Ron) Beanland, Melinda Dillow, and daughter-in-law Judy Dillow. She is also survived by six grandchildren Carl (Suzanne) and Steve Dillow, Shane (Kim) and Brett (Shelly) Shukis, Shay (Bill Hadley) Beanland and Ashlee (Ted) Cunningham; eight great-grandchildren Kristen (Chris) Hodges, Kasie and Kenzie Dillow; Blake and Tyler Shukis; Ray, John, and Edlyn Paige Cunningham; four great-great grandchildren Cash and Cobie Hodges, Hunter and Hayden Dillow; sister-in-law Martha Dillow; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leon and son Halford; and her two brothers, three sisters, and one brother-in-law. A private graveside service was at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Anna Cemetery with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
