Mr. Eddie D. Livesay, age 82, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Wolf Lake, died peacefully at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at his daughters home. He was born July 23, 1932 in Wolf Lake, the son of William and Nora Mae Davis Livesay. He married Mary Ruth Eaves on January 3, 1953 in Pocahantas, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2003. Eddie is survived by his son, Mike (Jodi) Livesay of Hazelwood, MO; two daughters, Gena (Clay) Mathes of Ormond Beach, FL, and Nancy (Mike) Stough of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, Nicole Roberts, David Livesay, Melanie Mathes, Angelena Mathes, Bethany Metzger, and Elayna Stough; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Cadence Roberts; one sister, Mildred Beasley of Tamms; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ruth Livesay; and two brothers, Don and Billy Livesay. Eddie and his wife moved to Maryland Heights, MO in 1956 and resided there until moving to Ormond Beach, FL two years ago. He was a member of the Dorsett Village Church for many years. He worked as an Astronautic Engineer for Boeing and NASA. Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Army.Funeral services for Mr. Eddie D. Livesay will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
