Earl Lynn Ring

Earl Lynn Ring, age 63 of Gordonville, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 26th, 1960 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Richard L. Ring and Joyce E. (Abernathy) Ring.

Earl is survived by his mother, Joyce Ring of Wolf Lake, Illinois; sister Joy Henson (Robert) of Grand Tower Illinois; brother Ricky Ring of Wolf Lake, Illinois; nieces, nephews, and cousin, Pam Abernathy; dear friends Kelly Russell, Billy Dinkins, a special dog named Taz, along with many other family members who loved him greatly. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Ring, sister-in-law Sharon Ring, brother-in-law Sammy Woodard, nephew Cody Ring and niece, Kelli Henson.

Earl grew up in Wolf Lake Illinois and was a 1978 graduate of Shawnee High School. He spent many years living and working in the area until later moving to Missouri.

A celebration of life will be held in Earl's honor in October. Details will be announced at a later date. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
