Earl D. Davis

Earl D. Davis, age 72 of Carlinville and formerly of Anna, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:35 pm at the Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Earl was born on June 13, 1939 in Anna, the son of Beryl and Bessie (Spurlock) Davis. Survivors include two aunts, Lorene Morgan of Jonesboro and Mabel Spurlock of Anna; several cousins and many caregivers and friends at his home at the Friendship Home in Carlinville. He was preceded in death by a twin sister Doris and his parents. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Casper Cemetery in Anna with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in the Casper Cemetery.
