E. Imogene Fox

E. Imogene Fox age 80 of Alto Pass died Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 5:40 p.m. at her son's home in Cobden. She was born August 22, 1930 in Alto Pass the daughter of Everett D. and Eva A. (Lindsey) Baltzell. Imogene married Burl D. Fox March 11, 1950 in Murphysboro. He preceded her in death March 8, 2002. Imogene is survived by two sons, Randy Fox of Mendota and Kevin (Mary) Fox of Cobden; a sister, Edna Tellor of Carbondale; a brother, Carl Baltzell of Cobden; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Imogene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alto Pass. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Burl Fox; a son, Gary Fox; and a granddaughter, Carrie Lynn Fox. Funeral services for E. Imogene Fox will be Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Alto Pass with Rev. Sam White officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5 - 8 p.m.at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass and also on Thursday from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Alto Pass. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass.
