Mr. Douglas D. Stanard, age 38 of Anna, died at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in Goreville. He was born May 14, 1972 in Ottawa, Iowa, the son of Douglas D. and Maria Fiotti Stanard, Sr. He married Nora L. Hardin on February 4, 1995 in Jefferson County, KY. .Doug is survived by his wife, Nora Stanard of Anna; 3 sons, Jonathon Allen of Lombard, IL, and Jacob and Nolan Stanard, both of Anna; his mother, Maria Stanard of Oshkosh, WI; his father, Douglas and wife Diane Stanard, Sr. of Poplar Grove, IL; 1 brother, Bradley (Tammy) Stanard of Colorado; 2 sisters, Andrea (Mike) Davis of Georgia and Natalie Stanard of Oshkosh, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Doug was a tattoo artist who owned and operated his own business in Anna.Funeral services for Mr. Douglas D. Stanard will be held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday August 28, 2010 at the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna with Rev. Richard Pearce officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
