Dorothy Hileman

Dorothy Hileman, age 93 of Jonesboro, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Union County Nursing Home. She was born October 25, 1928, the daughter of William Arthur and Bertha (Spiller) Harris. She married the love of her life Joseph Franklin Hileman on September 21, 1946 in Piggott, AR. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2002. Dorothy enjoyed shopping, taking road trips, reading and puzzles. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a secretary at the Anna Jonesboro High School for over 30 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Ware. She is survived by her children, Gary (Debbie) Hileman of Grand Tower and Joey (Carla) Hileman; grandchildren, Eric, Todd, Maddy, and J.R. Hileman; sister, Helen Dodd of Anna; brother, Wayne Harris of Ware; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Franklin Hileman; parents; sisters and brothers, Ethel Crismer, Elsie Belcher, Nola Bryant, Earl Harris and Clarence Harris. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bill Littrell officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Union County Long term Care or to the United Methodist Church of Ware. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
