Dorothy Elizabeth Clutts

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Clutts, age 94 of Cobden, died at 4:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at her home in Cobden. She was born April 2, 1917 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Alta and Maude Ferrell Harrell. She married Earl W. Clutts on October 9, 1938 in Cobden. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1994.Dorothy is survived by her two children, Janet Meadows and Glenn (Louise) Clutts all of Cobden; five grandchildren, Rhondalynn (Ken) Rushing of Russiaville, IN, Jeffrey (Kathryn) Meadows of Cobden, Stacy (Greg) Smith of Cobden, Brock Proctor and Joshua Proctor both of Anna; four great grandchildren, Josiah Rushing of Greencastle, IN, Hannah Rushing of Russiaville, IN, Haley Smith and Molly Smith both of Cobden; one sister, Marjorie Yates of Mt. Vernon; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl W. Clutts; four brothers, Clyde, Everett, George and Delbert Harrell. Dorothy was a member of the Water Valley Christian Church. She retired from Choate Mental Health Center as a Mental Health Technician after many years of service. Funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Clutts will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Chaplain Ken Rushing officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
