Dorothy M. Brust

Mrs. Dorothy M. Brust age 83 of Ullin, died at 8:32 am, Monday, December 10, 2012 at her home in Ullin. She was born on May 9, 1929 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Clifford and Lula (Meadows) Bryant. Dorothy married Bernard F. Brust, Jr. on June 26, 1948 in Cobden. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bernard "Bernie" of Ullin; one daughter, Rebecca Brown of Jonesboro; one son, Anthony Brust of Ullin; four grandchildren, Todd A. Brown, Anna Marie "Misty" (Anthony) Knupp, Adam Brust and Tiffany Brown; nine great-grandchildren, Jaron, Tyler, Logan, Alex, Jaden, Payton, Julian, Andrew and Addison; three nieces; four nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Freda Clutts, Deloris Schafer, infant sister, Darla Jean and Donna Stouthammer; one brother, Deion Bryant. Dorothy was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Anna. She was also a member of the Anna Moose Lodge and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 14, 2012 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna with Father Federico Higuera and Monsignor Bill McGee officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cobden. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 9 until 10:30 am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church. Memorial envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home and at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
