Doris Lorene (Dunaway) Keller

Doris Lorene (Dunaway) Keller, age 92 of Anna, died Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born on October 2, 1933 in Carbondale, the daughter of William Harry and Essie Mae (Burklow) Dunaway. She married Billy Ray Keller on June 1, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2021.

Doris is survived by two sons, Steve (Gian) Keller of Choctaw, OK and Larry (Melody) Keller of Anna; grandchildren, Sarah (Nick) Murray, Lenore (Randy) Ashby, Alison Keller, Shannon (Stacy) Keller, Nick Keller and Megan (Caleb) Crabtree; 15 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn (Jim) Newell of Tamms; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy Ray Keller, son, Ron Keller, great-granddaughter, Hadley Chase Ashby and sister, Mae Ellen Britt.

Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola for 60 years and was currently a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Hase Pharmacy in Anna for 20 years. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International for many years.

Funeral services for Doris Keller will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Bob Dover officiating. Interment will follow in Meisenheimer Cemetery in Dongola. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Meisenheimer Cemetery. Envelopes are available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
