Dora Mae Jackson

Mrs. Dora Mae Jackson, age 94 of Cobden, died at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. She was born May 21, 1917 in Mildred, MO the daughter of David and Dora Elizabeth Edwards.Dora is survived by her three children, Ronald Green of Dongola, Harold Green of Cobden and Norma Kimmel of Jonesboro; fifteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; one brother, Edgar Edwards of Washington State; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, infant Jerry and James Green; one daughter, Clara Green; and seven brothers and sisters.Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Mae Jackson will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor David Gilley officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
