Donald G. Stokes

Donald G. Stokes, age 75 of Anna died on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at The Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon. He was born September 19, 1944 in Mounds the son of Gilbert and Ruth Kathleen (Harris) Stokes. Donald was a Shriner and was a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Tampa, Florida. He was also a member of the VFW in Zephyrhills, Florida. Donald worked many years as an Electrician. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Donald is survived by his two daughters, Melissa R. Willmann of Cape Girardeau, MO and April Stokes of Anna; grandchildren, Garyt Johnson, Madison Wellons, Allen McCommons, and Samantha Stokes; brother, Paul (Leila) Stokes of The Villages, FL; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dale Stokes. There will be no services held at this time.
