Donald "Sonny" Myers

Mr. Donald "Sonny" Myers, age 79 of Alto Pass, died at 5:02 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born March 2, 1934 in Cobden, the son of Paul Bryan and Lillie Hinkle Myers. He married Marjorie Ann Dillow on May 10, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on December 23, 2008. Sonny is survived by his two sons, Donald (Paula) Myers Jr., Kevin Myers all of Alto Pass; one daughter, Debra (Keith) Sutliff of Cobden; five grandchildren, Bryan and Steven Myers, Jessica, Dustin and Ashley Sutliff; two brothers, Harold (Rita) Myers, Bobby (Glenda) Myers all of Cobden; one sister, Barbara (Bill) Cerny of Shorewood, IL; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie Ann Myers; and one brother, Paul Bryan Myers Jr. Funeral services for Mr. Donald "Sonny" Myers will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Rev. Cliff Waller officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of V.F.W in Anna and the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass.
