Donald Lee Mowery Jr.

Mr. Donald Lee Mowery Jr. age 53 of Lick Creek, died at 9:31 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born January 10, 1963 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the son of Donald Lee Sr. and Betty June (Mixen) Mowery. Donald is survived by his mother, Betty June Rossdeutcher of Goreville; three sisters, Rita (Allen) Laminack of Lick Creek, Rose (Ray) Haynes of Ullin and Rhonda Davis of West Virginia; his beloved dog, Reese; numerous nephews and nieces; cousins; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Donald was a farmer and over the road truck driver for many years. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. Memorial services for Mr. Donald Lee Mowery Jr. will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's Cemetery in Dongola. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
