Donald E. Dillow

Donald E. Dillow, age 81 of Cobden, died Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home. He was born October 30, 1940 in Waukegan, the son of Clarence E. and Ruth Marion (Stang) Dillow. Donald is survived by his loving son, Fred E. (Tina) Dillow of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, Robert (Gigette) Dillow, Lisa Medina, Logan (Paola) Dillow; three great-grandchildren, Landan, Clay, Paige Dillow; sister, Sharon R. (William M.) Hall of Cobden; nephew, James Hall who has been like a son to Donald; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Fred Edward Dillow II. Donald owned and operated Dillow's Glass and Radiator in Waukegan with his son for many years. In 1995 he retired and moved to Southern Illinois. He loved growing vegetables and would donate his produce to the local food pantry with Shawnee Development for Seniors. Visitation services will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will immediately follow in the Casper Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are asked to be made to Shawnee Development Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
