Don C. Swink

Mr. Don C. Swink, age 79 of Dongola, died at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his home. He was born November 25, 1936 in Union County, the son of Boyd and Gertrude (Westbrook) Swink. He married Betty Sims on December 20, 1953 in Jackson, MO. Don is survived by his loving wife, Betty Swink of Dongola; children, Donna (Billy) Williams of Anna, Michael Swink of Dongola, and Debbie Holcomb of Dongola; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; one sisters, Janet Hawk of Anna; and two brothers, Bon Swink of Elgin and Kenneth Swink of Anna; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and two sons, Donnie Ray and Tommy. Don worked many years as a plumber, and in his spare time fixing up old cars. He dearly loved his family, children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren; he will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services for Mr. Don C. Swink will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Mickey Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery.
