Dolores J (Foster) Reynolds

Dolores J. Reynolds, age 88 of Reynoldsville, died Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on October 1, 1934 in Wolf Lake, the daughter of Cleve and Gladys (Tiffany) Foster. She married the love of her life, Jackie Leon Reynolds, on September 8, 1951 in Wolf Lake. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2020.

Dolores is survived by three children, Rodney (Vicki) Reynolds of Wolf Lake, Jackie (Jay) Jennings of Reynoldsville, and Greg (Amy) Reynolds of Reynoldsville; grandchildren, Adam Reynolds, Sara (Joey) Choate, Lara Reynolds, Jonathan (Betsy) Oxford, Justin Wilson, Joseph Kelley, Jessie (Andrew) Livesay, and Valley Reynolds; 18 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a sister, Doris Dennis of St. Louis; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; infant daughter, Cynthia Gay; twin infant grandsons; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Dolores was a hard worker and an incredible prayer warrior for her family and friends, leading by example and giving them a clear path to follow. She loved being outside, raising beautiful flowers.  She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan but her favorite games to attend were those of grandchildren. She never missed one of their many sporting events.

Funeral services for Dolores Reynolds will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Aaron Boyd and Bobby Henson officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
