Deon Houghlan

Deon Houghlan, age 63 of Elkville, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was born February 15, 1955, son of Edgar James and Alice Lucille (Brimm) Houghlan. Deon is survived by his two sons, James Houghlan of Carbondale and Danny Deon Houghlan of Mascoutah; one daughter, Chris Barringer of Waterloo; six grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.Deon attended the Jubilee Tabernacle in De Soto. He worked as a mechanic for several years. Funeral services for Deon Houghlan will be held at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Danny Norman officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery.
