Deborah "Deb" Mae Jerrell

Mrs. Deborah Mae "Deb" Jerrell, age 62 of Anna, died at 4:43 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 at her home. She was born August 6, 1948 in Portsmouth, OH, the daughter of Robert and Wanda Hunt Crawford. Deb is survived by her husband Dennis Jerrell of Anna; a daughter, Valerie Jerrell of Cobden; a son, Eric Jerrell of Anna; an aunt, Greta Stanton of Orange Park, FL; Kent, Renee, Mahala, Leslie, and Mary Jo, all cousins who were raised like brothers and sisters; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Richard and Mae Elizabeth Hunt who raised her as a daughter; and a cousin, Dwight.Deb was a 1966 graduate of McKell High School in South Shore, KY. She was a licensed cosmetologist, she worked as a referring travel agent, and she was also a mental health Technician III at Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna. She loved traveling and going on cruises with her husband Dennis.Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Mae "Deb" Jerrell will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Richard Pearce and Rev. Scott Kelley officiating. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until the funeral hour. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Fund or to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Services and burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Siloam Cemetery in Ashland, Kentucky.
