David Allen Munsell

David Allen Munsell, 63 of Jonesboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He saw born on June 5, 1959 in Cairo, the son of Delbert and Thelma (Burns) Munsell. He married Sheila Jane Palmer on April 9, 1983 in Olive Branch.

David is survived by his wife, Sheila Jane Munsell of Jonesboro; two sons, Zackary Allen Munsell of Lowell, AR and Luke Allen (Aicy) Munsell of Herrin; three grandchildren, Clarice, Liam Allen and Brooklyn Munsell; a sister, Tammy (Jeff) Camp of Tuscaloosa, AL; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

David was of the Baptist faith. He was an educator with Southern Seven Health Department. He loved his family and greatly enjoyed teaching. His hobbies included classic cars, football, hunting and fishing.

A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of David Allen Munsell will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
