David Thomas Masden

Mr. David Thomas Masden, age 40 of Cobden, died at 8:24 pm, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on June 2, 1974 in Lafayette, IN, the son of Joseph Thomas and Brenda Sue (Fosskuhl) Masden. David is survived by his parents, Tom and Brenda Masden of Cobden; one sister, Irma Jean (Nathan) Bailey of Natural Bridge, VA; two nephews, Jakob Bailey and Brendan Bailey; cousins; other relatives and many friends. David was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church and loved life and he lived life to the fullest. David had worked at Wal-Mart, Schnucks and also mowed the Cobden cemetery. He was beloved by his two nephews and was an Eagle Scout and loved electronics. Funeral mass for Mr. David Thomas Masden will be held at 10:00 am. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Cobden. Friends may call from 4 until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with the Rosary at 4:00 pm on Tuesday at thefuneral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan House of Carbondale. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
