David Karl Macleod

Mr. David Karl MacLeod, age 72 of Cobden, died at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at his home. He was born February 19, 1944 in Mobile, AL, the son of John A. and Mary Lucille (Anderson) MacLeod. David is survived by his daughters, Patricia MacLeod (Peter) Currey of Gallatin, TN, Pamela Kay MacLeod of Gorham, NH; one grandson, Shawn Welsh; one sister, Janet MacLeod of Adamant, VT other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. David was a member of the Illinois National Guard for a few years, he was an avid car enthusiast, and his passion was rebuilding street rods. He worked many years as a mechanic before retiring. Celebration of life for David Karl MacLeod will be at the Great Boars of Fire on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Friends and fellow car enthuses are asked to meet at the Anna Wal-Mart parking lot at 4:30 p.m. and follow in precession to the Great Boars of Fire. Memorial contributions are asked to be made to P.A.W.S. of Anna envelopes will be available at the service and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
