David Shawn Knight

David Shawn Knight, age 61 of Anna, passed away on May 2, 2018 in Memphis, TN. He was born November 14, 1956 in Woodstock, the son of Raymond James and Helen Marlene (Eddings) Knight. David is survived by his son, Eli (Mandy) Knight of Anna; daughter, Nicole Knight (Allen Wood) of Metropolis; grandson, Elias Knight of Anna; brother, Dale Knight; sister, Dawn (Gary) Roach all of Anna; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles Raymond Knight and Michael Duane Knight; and one sister, Marilyn Sue Bird. David worked for many years as an over the road truck driver. He was currently employed by Hook Transport out of Cape Girardeau, MO. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved to cook for his family. He will be dearly missed by everyone. Memorial services will be held privately by his family.
