David Wayne Charles

David Wayne Charles, age 65 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born January 18, 1956 in Anna, the son of James Emaneul and Bonnie Marie (Goleaner) Charles. David is survived by his two sons, Will Charles and David Charles Jr. both of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Taylor, Justin, Michael and Rikki Rentfro Charles; great-grandchild, Lily Shields; siblings, James (Nancy) Charles of Reynoldsville, Jerry (Kathryn) Charles of Beaver Damn, KY, Sharon Phillips of Ohio, Donald (Barbara) Charles of Dongola, Deborah (Rick) Morgan of Missouri; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Ronald Charles. David worked as a brick layer for many years and in 1995 workedas an over the road truck driver until his retirement. Memorial services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at noon.
