David Lee Allen

Mr. David Lee Allen, age 65 of Jonesboro, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born August 30, 1952 in Anna, the son of John Jr. and Betty Ann (Cook) Allen. He married Linda James on May 9, 1974. David is survived by his wife, Linda Allen of Jonesboro; two sons, Aaron (Kayla) Allen of Marion and Adam (Kala) Allen of Dongola; three grandchildren, Peyton Allen, Liam Robinson, and Sawyer Allen; one sister, Barbara (Charles) Ticer of Grand Tower; two brothers, Rick (Connie) Allen of Anna and Terry (Teresa) Allen of Jonesboro; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. David served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a big man with a big heart. He loved spending time with his family and was a proud grandpa to his grandchildren. Private family services will be held.
