Darrell E. Woods

Darrell E. Woods, age 75 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Hardin County General Hospital. He was born October 4, 1946 in Louisville, the son of Robert Neil and Lois Mae (Tackitt) Woods.

Darrell is survived by his sister, Susan (Phil) Alley of Weber City, VA; brothers, Chuck (Vickie) Woods of Olney, Jim (Terri) Woods of Flora; many nieces and nephews; all his friends at Arrowleaf; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Darrell was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. He loved to wear his Cardinal cap and wrist watch and he always enjoyed a good meal. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Red Brush Cemetery in Louisville with Pastor Brent Bailey officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
