Mr. Danny Joseph Yates, age 40 of Martin, TN, formerly of Cobden, died at 10:35 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 in the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born September 14, 1975 in Detroit, MI, the son of Mary Ann Yates. Danny is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ann Yates of Martin, TN; beloved dog, Shyann; one uncle, Larry (Sheila) Yates of Cobden; three aunts, Susan (Fred) Chambers of Las Vegas, NV, Lori (Myron) Albers of Alto Pass, and Debbie Spiller of Cobden; cousins, Heather (Roddy) Toler of MI, Timothy (Kami) Yates of TN, Amy Martindale of Las Vegas, NV, Larry Yates of Anna, Lisa Yates of Cobden, and Jonathan Albers of Alto Pass; special friend, Travis Streeter of Martin, TN; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Neda Yates; and one uncle, Timothy Yates.Danny was a 1994 graduate of Cobden High School, he loved being an Appleknocker. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball during high school. Danny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the outdoors. Funeral services for Mr. Danny Joseph Yates will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
