Danny M. Hartsock

Danny Milton Hartsock, age 68 of Cobden, died Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home. He was born April 29, 1951 in Anna, the son of Donald Eugene and Dorothy May (Hubbs) Hartsock. He married Karen Yvette Porter on October 24, 1969 in Cobden. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2017. Danny is survived by his daughter, Yvonne (Danny) Windings of Cobden; son, Eugene (Emily) Hartsock of Anna; twelve grandchildren, Kaylee (Brock) Martin, Bradley, Sidney, and Lindsey Windings, Allison (Dylan) McCann, Ashley Hartsock, Sophie Derossett, Jon, Sam, Gabbi, Francesca and Lydia Derossett; five great grandchildren and one on the way, Colton McCann, Sage Derossett, Roselle Trammel, Margeaux Derossett-Harris and Oliver Derossett; other relative and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Karen Yvette Hartsock. Danny was a member of the Immanuel Praise and Worship Center in Cobden. He was retired from the Union County Highway Department after serving many years as an operating engineer. Services were held privately for his family. Interment was in the Cobden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Praise and Worship Center.
