Danny Ray Coryell

Danny R. Coryell, age 43 of Dongola, died on Friday, September 16, 2011 in Dongola as a result of an ATV accident. He was born on April 2, 1968 in Kankakee, the son of Larry Joe and Margaret LaVerne (Kinder) Coryell. Danny proudly served his country in the United States Navy.Danny is survived by two daughters, Brittni Danielle Pratis of Marion and Baleigh Jordan Parmly of Dongola; two grandchildren, Jailynn Pratis and Jaxon Simmons; his parents, Larry and Margaret Coryell of Anna; one brother, Tom (Crystal) Whitney of Dongola; two sisters, Bobbie (Doug) Sauerbrunn of Jonesboro and April (Jeff) Johnson of Centralia; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.Funeral services for Mr. Danny Coryell will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Jim Stamp and the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 20 from 9:00 am until the funeral hour at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Mound City National Cemetery in Mounds City. Military Honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion and Area Veterans. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
