Dale Harvell

Dale Harvell, 82 of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Union County Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1938 in Tamms, the son of Thomas and Pearl (Bridges) Harvell. He married Dorothy Williams on November 4, 1959.He is survived by his wife Dorothy; his children, Darryl (Diane) Harvell and Donna (Kenny) Brumleve; grandchildren Kyle, Jessica, Ryan, Stephanie and Derek; great grandchildren Logan, Flynt, Aria, Kason, Brigham, Adaley and one on the way. He is also survived by a brother, Melvin (Clara) Harvell and two sisters, Wilma Hoyle and Kim Guetersloh. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Norman Harvell.Dale retired from Sears where he worked as an appliance repair technician. He continued doing repair work after his retirement. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved animals, holding a special fondness for horses, cats, dogs and spent many hours watching birds and deer.Graveside funeral services for Dale Harvell will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow.Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.Memorial contributions can be made to Union County Animal Control. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and cemetery.
