Cristian Ryan "Kiki" Godinez

Mr. Cristian Ryan "Kiki" Godinez, age 17 of Cobden, died at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Cobden. He was born June 22, 1995 in Carbondale, the son of Efren and Tracey Godinez. Cristian is survived by his loving parents, Efren and Tracey Godinez of Cobden; three brothers, Marcos, Ariel, and Noah Godinez all of Cobden; grandparents, Sebastian Godinez and Maria Castillo both of Cobden; Patsy Ruiz of North Carolina; aunts and uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends. Cristian was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden. Christian was entering his senior year at Cobden High School. He loved sports, especially soccer. Cristian will be warmly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral mass for Mr. Cristian Ryan "Kiki" Godinez will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Cobden High School Gymnasium in Cobden. The rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. at the Cobden High School Gymnasium. Memorial contributions may be made to the Godinez Family.
