Clyde Banks, age 90 of Anna, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Anna. He was born on November 28, 1930 in Elizabethtown, Illinois the son of Clyde A. and Grace (Mott) Banks. He married Opal Simmons on February 14, 1959 in Shawneetown, Illinois. He is survived by his son-in-law, Ronnie Stewart; a granddaughter, Lisa Tokarz, and his great granddaughter, Emma Karlstedt. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Opal and his dear daughter Lynn Stewart. Clyde was a member of Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. He served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army. Funeral services for Clyde Banks will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Anna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions can be made to Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
