Clint Allen "Bubby" Spurlock

Clint Allen "Bubby" Spurlock, age 52 of Anna, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at his home. He was born February 1, 1971 in Carbondale, the son of Johnny Spurlock and Phyllis Gunther.

Clint is survived by his mother, Phyllis Gunther of Paducah; father, Johnny Spurlock of Anna; sisters, Jenny Brown of Carmi and Rebecca Pender of Paducah; nieces and nephews, Dylan (Cassie) Brown, Matthew Brown, Megan Spurlock, Toni Pender, and Bailey Pender; great nieces and nephews, Dagan, Kyra, and Chloe Hill, Bella Brown, Kendyl Goins, Ellie Dutton, Iver Fox, Asher Fox, and Riley Harris; two uncles, Mark (Clara) Spurlock of Mt. Pleasant and Frank (Pam) Spurlock of Decatur; three aunts, Rita Hancock of Jonesboro, Carolyn (Mike) Leverett of Galatia, and Sharon Jones of Cypress; other relatives, and many friends, including his family and friends at R & J Country Living. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mabel Spurlock; maternal grandparents, Audie and Sadie Gunther; seven uncles, and three aunts. Clint will be dearly missed.

Clint loved his job in the workshop for the RAVE and the Jr Center. He was obsessed with fast cars. He enjoyed singing and watching wrestling. You could often find him mowing the lawn or tinkering with mowers. He loved to socialize and never forgot anyone's name.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Brother Bon Reynolds officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Homes to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
