Clifford Jones

Mr. Clifford Jones, age 74 of Anna, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 9:03 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home with his wife and children by his side. He was born November 2, 1941 in Portland, OR., the son of Emmette and Ruth (Rowell) Jones. He married Marilyn Elkins in 1981 in Jonesboro. Clifford is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Marilyn Elkins Jones of Anna; two daughters, Janet Jones and Julie Lenord; one son David Jones all of the Joliet area; five step-children, he raised and loved as his own, sons, Mitchell (Monica) Bryant of LA., Michael (Lee Anne) Bryant of Anna, Tony (Sherri) Bryant of Dongola; daughters, Melissa (Jason) Winchester of Carbondale, and Sylvia (Eric) Needham of Dongola; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Dianne McConnel of Alto, NM.; one brother, Michael Jones of St. Louis, MO.; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, and twin sisters. Clifford was a member of the Wolf Lake Pentecostal Church where he attended until he became ill. For most of his career he worked in security at the Power Plant in Grand Tower. He enjoyed his career and his work. Clifford loved radios and computers and spending time with his family. Graveside services for Mr. Clifford Jones will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 in the Casper Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Bryant officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jones Family.
