Claude Stroud

Mr. Claude Stroud, age 63 of Cobden, died at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at his home. He was born January 16, 1954 the son of Claude Stroud and Mamie (Rector) Aldridge. Claude is survived by his daughter, Keeley Leighann Wright of Anna; son, Stephen Brantley of Texas; one grandson, Connor Wright; two sisters, Dorothy Holderfield of Herrin and Charlotte Robinson of Herrin; one brother, Carl Young of Marion. Also survived and loved by nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Stroud and Mamie (Rector) Aldridge; two brothers, Bill Young and Albert Young. He worked in the construction industry for many years. Funeral services for Mr. Claude Stroud will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home of Cobden with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
