Clara N. Bucher

Mrs. Clara N. Bucher, age 90 of Paducah, KY, formerly of Southern Illinois, died at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 7, 2017 in Lourdes Hospice and Palliative Care in Paducah, KY. She was born June 7, 1926 in Cairo, the daughter of Aud and Allie (Vaughn) Henshaw. She married Paul E. Bucher Sr. on May 24, 1943 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1998. Clara is survived by her children, Paul E. Bucher Jr. of Bolingbrook, Peggy L. (Randy) Grey of Severn, MD, Robert L. Bucher of Clarendon Hills; daughter in law, Jeannie (Louis) Britt of Cobden; six grandchildren, Tammy (Larry) Morris-Graham, Gerald (Melissa) Britt, Mike (Elizabeth) Grey, Mark Grey, Rachel Bucher, and Wally Britt; eleven great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; brother, Norman (Carol) Henshaw of St. Louis, MO; sister in law, Marie Henshaw of Paducah, KY; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul E. Bucher Sr.; two brothers, Billy Henshaw and Donald (Martha) Henshaw. Clara loved crafting and would give them to all her family members. She loved flowers and growing plants. She dearly loved all her children; grandchildren; great and great-great grandchildren and will be missed by everyone. Funeral services for Mrs. Clara N. Bucher will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Mounds. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. and until the service hour at 10:30 am. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Superior Care of Paducah, Lourdes Hospital, and the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center for their support in her final days.
