Christopher Lee "Chris" Ayers

Chris Ayers, age 52 of North Port, AL, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was born May 22, 1966 in Anna, the son of Kermett W. and Betty Joan (Basler) Ayers. Chris is survived by his brother, Tim (Mary) Ayers of Madison, AL; one nephew; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Chris earned his Bachelor of Art degree from Southern Illinois University and a Master's degree from the University of Birmingham. He was currently working as an Occupational Therapist at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Mark Hasty officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery.
