Charles Ray Verble

Mr. Charles Ray Verble, age 76 of Jonesboro, died at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his home in Jonesboro. He was born September 11, 1935 in Anna, the son of Ray and Grace Simmons Verble. Charles is survived by one brother in law, H.R. Clutts of Cobden; one nephew Rodney (Kelli) Clutts of Anna; two nieces, Sheleigh (Bill) Belongy of Clewiston, Florida and Lauren (Wayne) Banks of St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Kathleen Stegle and Geraldine Clutts; one brother in law, Edward Stegle.Charles was a lifelong resident of Union County. He retired from Choate Mental Health after 35 years of service. Funeral services for Mr. Charles Ray Verble will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Anna City Cemetery with Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Stinson Library. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
