Mr. Charles E. Dillman Sr. age 73 of Jonesboro, died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born January 31, 1944 in Tamms, the son of Lloyd and Villa Mae (Kirk) Dillman. He married Janet Pedigo on February 23, 1967 in Olive Branch. Charles is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Janet Dillman of Jonesboro; two sons, Charles Dillman Jr. and Craig (Christie) Dillman all of Anna; one daughter, Christina (Jeremiah) Willmore of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Michael Dillman, Britteny (Daniel) Rich, Ethan and Ayden Dillman, Elaine, Lucas, and Joseph Willmore; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, four sisters, and granddaughter, Alexis Dillman. Charles was a member of the East Cape Baptist Church. He worked many years as an over the road truck driver. He was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of the Bikers Against Child Abuse. Charles served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services for Mr. Charles E. Dillman Sr. will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment will be in the St. John's Cemetery with Rev. Paul Mayberry officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Annaand the Illinois Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
