Carrell O'Daniell

Carrell O'Daniell, age 78 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born July 19, 1944 in Union County, the son of Albert and Lucille (Morse) O'Daniell.

Carrell is survived by his daughter, Renee Brimm of Jonesboro, Tim Brimm of Anna; son, Scott (Jennifer) O'Daniell of St. Cloud, Florida; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Joles, Dustin (Tabby) Brimm, Kristen Brimm, Ryan (Robyn) O'Daniell, Nicholas (Amanda) O'Daniell, Jake (Nola) O'Daniell; eleven great-grandchildren, Vayda, Juniper, Olive, Oakley, and Forrest Joles, Rayne, Ridge, Rhodes, and Ellie O'Daniell, Elizabeth and Amelia O'Daniell; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lucille O'Daniell.

Carrell was a man of faith, growing up he attended the Church of Christ. He was an amateur Ham Radio operator and a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 277. He loved rebuilding and tinkering with old cars, doing body work and building airplanes. Carrell loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, they were his number one.

Carrell worked for Bunny Bread for twenty-five years until they closed the Anna location. Later he worked for Union County Ambulance Service for over twenty years until his retirement.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may visit after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Sunday February 12, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
