Carolyn Treece

Mrs. Carolyn Treece, age 78 of Anna, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the River to River Assisted Living in Anna. She was born July 27, 1938 in Cairo, the daughter of Van and Eileen (Groner) Earnhart. She married Don Treece on October 7, 1961 in Perks. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2006. Carolyn is survived by her sister, Christine (Jim) Helm; brother, Kenton (Beverly) Earnhart all of Dongola; nephews and nieces, Rick, Mike, Lisa, Brad, John, Justin, and Paige; her loving companion, Lina; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Don Treece. Carolyn worked many years as a Loan Officer for various banks in Anna. Together, she and her husband Don enjoyed crafting handmade projects they gave to family and friends. She also loved painting and working with ceramics. Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Treece will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with John Earnhart officiating. Interment will be in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 and until the service hour at 2:00p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Dongola American Legion Cemetery. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
