Carol Miller

Carol Miller, age 85 of Anna, died November 5, 2019 at Integrity Healthcare in Anna. He was born December 16, 1933 in Anna, the son of Lester and Cynthia (Williams) Miller. He married Phyllis Sadler on May 9, 1963 in Cairo. Carol is survived by his wife, Phyllis Miller of Anna; children, Jonathan (Kathy) Miller of Seattle, WA, Angie Stoner of Cobden, Ron Miller of Anna, Joseph Miller of Granite City; grandchildren, Nathan (Jen) Miller, Mathew (Kelley) Miller, Charlie (Sarah) Miller, Dusty (Natalie) Miller, Angel Stoner, Austin Stoner, Drake Miller, Bryce Miller; great-grandchildren, Elisabeth Miller, Judah Miller, Norah Miller, Madelyn Miller; siblings, Eleanor Clardy of Anna, Ann E. Seliger of Anna, Larry (Jane) Miller of Cobden, Donna Miller of Texas, Cynthia Hall of Anna, Betty (Max) Casey of Buncombe, Janet (Jack) Treece of Marissa, Jim (Rhonda) Brumitt of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Miller; brother, Gerald Eugene Miller; brothers-in-law, Jim Clardy, George Seliger, and Larry Hall. Carol was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church for many years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and he loved his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with them. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Darryl Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Big Creek Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 12, 2019 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorials may be made to the Anna Heights Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available and the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
