Carol Ann Johnson

Mrs. Carol Ann Johnson, age 70, of Dongola, died at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her home. She was born February 1, 1944 in Chicago Heights, the daughter of John and Mildred Lisdero Usrey. Carol is survived by her daughter, Debbie Eubanks of Dongola; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Kylee) Petrus and John Nowicki-Heffron; one great-grandchild, Jordan; dearly beloved friend, Paul David McKee; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bobby" Weddel; one sister, Mickey Vollrath; and one brother, John Lisdero. Carol was retired from Choate Mental Health as a technician. Carol was a very loving, unique and generous person. Her generosity flowed in many ways. She donated to the local food pantry and was always giving to those in need. Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Ann Johnson will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Robert Fear officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's Cemetery in Dongola. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Development Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
