Carmen Maxine (Cross) Coffman

Carmen Coffman, age 88 of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born January 14, 1937 in Anna, the daughter of Francis and Carrie (Wiley) Cross. She married Harlan Coffman on November 16, 1957 in Corinth, MS. He preceded her in death February 4, 2019.

Carmen is survived by her son; Mark Coffman of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Love of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Calvin and Carmella Love; sister, Shirley Casper of Carbondale; lifelong friend, Irma Brown of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlan Coffman; brother, Harold Cross, and sisters, Eva Lee Harman and Joyce Muldoon.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Jonesboro Cemetery with Pastor Perry Williams officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Visitation will take place at the cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
