Carla M Ballenger

Carla M. Ballenger, 77 of Dongola, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Union County Hospital. She was born September 22, 1944 in Kewanee, Illinois the daughter of Carl and Violet (Rosenow) Felten. She married Hurley Ballenger on June 23, 2007. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2019. She is survived by her children, Bennett (Sandra) Siebert, Tina (John) Walters, Mary Lou (Ron) Gorst, Tracey Siebert and Angelina (James) Daugherty; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Lou Smith, Paddy Schwemlein and Ruth (Ron) Dobrydnia; two brothers, Ed Felten and Don (Wanda) Felten; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, James Siebert. A celebration of the life of Carla Ballenger will be hosted by her family at a later date. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in Carla's honor.
