Bruce A. Nagel

Bruce A. Nagel, age 86 of Anna, died Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO. He was born December 10, 1934 in Chicago, the son of Gustav and Dorothy (Meier) Nagel. He married Carolyn Hughey. Bruce is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carolyn Nagel; daughter, Dina Conenello; step-sons, Jeff (Dianne) Hudgens and Steve (Carmie) Hudgens; step-daughter, Tammy Hudren; grandchildren, Emilee and Baylee Hudgens, Anthony and Amanda Hudgens; niece, Melissa Flahart; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harley Nagel. Bruce worked as a fireman and diver for the city of Chicago for many years. He also did work as a stone mason. Bruce loved animals and enjoyed going horse back riding. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Anna. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bill Littrell officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to P.A.W.S. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
